The Careers & Employability Service has helped raise the profile of employers on campus by organising a range of career and employer led events throughout the academic year. It’s a great opportunity to showcase your organisation, meet students and graduates, network with academic staff and forge effective links with the University.
Events programme for 2013/14 |

Events of 2012/13 so far have included:
Employer Presentations/Employer Stands |

In addition to the above events, employers also visit the University to undertake presentations to students. Presentations can help provide an overview of your company, the opportunities available and support your recruitment needs. The Careers & Employability Service can organise your presentation, co-ordinate dates, book rooms and equipment. We can target relevant students, proactively promote the event and arrange the presentation to be added to our online events and booking system.
If you prefer a more informal approach we can arrange for employers to set up a stand or exhibition area in a suitable location on campus where you can meet students face to face and promote vacancies available. Again we can market your visit to students on our website and through our faculty contacts.
For an overview of faculties and courses please view University website . To check suitable dates when students are available view Term Dates. Alternatively contact the Careers & Employability Service, we have excellent links with faculties and academic departments and can be a useful first point of contact.
If you are interested in arranging a presentation or setting up an employer stand on-campus please Email The Careers & Employability Service or ring 01443 482080
